Higaurashi's

Soru

Kagome, Kera, and Souta's father. Also Guro's son. He is a professional assassin and works for a company. He took Kera and trained her from infancy, to follow in his footsteps, under the agreement that they leave the rest of his family alone.

He's controlling and will kill to keep those he loves safe. He loves his family more than anything in the world. After Kera is attacked by her 'partners' during a mission that fails, he sends her home to her mother, and takes out the remainder of the company, before returning to his family and deciding both he and Kera are going to retire. Definitely someone you do not want to mess with.

Kagome's identical twin sister. She's a deadly assassin, under her father's trainings from childhood she has become one of the world's best assassins. At a very young age she showed potential for becoming one of their very best assassins.

She doesn't take crap from anyone, is very outspoken, and doesn't tolerate being talked down to just because she is a woman. She is feisty, athletic, and multi talented. She doesn't know the meaning of the words 'give up' and never hesitates to protect the ones she loves.

She will do anything to keep them safe. She's stubborn to a fault, but has a good heart. She gives 100% in everything she does. She as well is someone you do not want to anger.

Devon

He is the oldest of his father's children and is Kera's best friend. They practically grew up together. His father owns the company, Kera and her father work for. From a young age, he has been groomed to take over in his father's stead, when the time comes.

He resents the fact that his father has given him no choice but to take over the company. He wants to be his own man, but has always been under his father's thumb.

His only solace is found when he is hanging around Kera. He is to be feared in his own right, but really can't touch Kera's class of training. Unkown to most, he is also Kera's first boy friend, but has never managed to convince her to bed him.

He's never had competition for Kera's affection, and when he finds out she has been with another man, things become very personal. His family and duty are very important to him. He and Kera used to be very close, and he is still very possessive of her.

Even after death, he continues to be there whenever Kera needs him the most.

Toru

He is the second son. He thinks rules do not apply to him. He is used to getting whatever he wants however he wants. He's very arrogant and is a braggart. 

Despite Kera dating his older brother, he wants her for himself, and tries to take he. He is no where near as dangerous as his brothers.

 Komo

He is the youngest, and most dangerous. He is insane and cares for little else other than killing. He's dangerous, because he is good at what he does and thrives on playing with his victims minds. He respects his brothers, but no one else.

Dorian

He is the football captain, as well as Hojo's best friend. Another guy who is not used to being told no. He is instantly entranced by Kera's feisty nature. He does not like that she refuses to date him, and is with Bankotsu instead. He and Bankotsu neither one trust the other.

He is furious and vows nothing is over, even after he and
Hojo interrupt Kera and Bankotsu's wedding reception. He ends up getting forced to leave, by Soru and warned never to return to the property. He absolutely refuses to be denied, especially by Kera. He's very obnoxious and means to make trouble.

Darius

He is the same age as Bankotsu as well as Bankotsu's best friend from childhood. He's an expert swordsman like his father and is feared well beyond their region, because of his expertise in swords and being a soldier.

His father was the village's most feared and accomplished swordsman. Darius inherited his father's skills with a blade and not many can keep up with him in that department. One of the few who can is his best friend Bankotsu. His mother was full Irish.

He is very protective of his little sister. He won't hesitate to kill anyone and everyone to protect her. His loyalty lies solely with his sister, and best friends. They are everything to him. Once Bankotsu is banished, he lives solely to protect his sister. He has no interest in having a family of his own, until after his sister is safe.

 He loves to spar and train the new recruits. His biggest thrill is when Bankotsu gets in the training area and spars with him. Darius spars and the crowd gathers. When he spars with Bankotsu, the entire village comes to watch. he knows his sister and Bankotsu have feelings for each other and hopes one day they will both admit it. His fighting style and Bankotsu's are a mixture of Kenjutsu and Taijutsu. He like Lissa but doesn't tell her until after he dies {protecting Kitra.} He is resurrected by Naraku in the finale.

 Kitra

She is a feisty red haired hazel eyed spitfire, with pale skin that is two years younger than her brother. She is Darius's sister and Bankotsu's female best friend. She, her brother, and Bankotsu grew up together. She's wild for a woman and is used to being able to act and do however she wants. She can't stand Kou or Kio.

She's smart and has a kindness to her, that can melt even the coldest hearts. She's sensitive to a fault, and relies on her brother and Bankotsu for protection. Later on she learns to protect herself, and refuses to let anyone push her around.

She's sassy and cares about her brother and Bankotsu's eating habits. When they are home she makes certain the eat healthy meals and inherited her mama's talent for cooking. She is by far one of the best cooks in the village. Taking care of her brother and best friend are her sole reasons for living.

After Bankotsu gets banished for saving her, she feels guilty and believes the village girls who blame her for Bankotsu's banishment. Her sole purpose for living then becomes taking care of her brother and making him happy.

Her mother was also the village priestess, and she has inherited some of those abilities as well. She loves to watch her brother spar, and loves even more to watch Darius and Bankotsu spar. She has always had a crush on Bankotsu, but tries to convince herself otherwise.

Jumal

He is the same age as Bankotsu and is a friend of the trio's. He very much looks up to Darius and Bankotsu. Like the trios his parents are gone and he alone is raising his little sister. He loves to spar with Darius and is eager to learn.

Once Bankotsu gets banished, he takes over protecting Kitra when Darius is off on soldier duty. His fighting style is like Kenjutsu.

Lissa

She one year younger then Kitra and has always had a crush on Darius. She is Kitra's female best friend. They enjoy watching their brother's and Bankotsu in action. She is also the only female in the village who doesn't blame Kitra or shun her once Bankotsu is banished.

She is very grateful to Kitra for protecting her when her brother was knocked out for protecting them both. She is not a fighter and depends on her brother solely for protection.

Kou

He is the village headman's oldest son and expected to take his father's place as headman. He has always had his eye on Kitra. He hates the fact that she and Bankotsu are so close. He also holds a grudge against Darius for being a better swordsman, than he the headman's son is. He and Jumal are the same age.

He is very possessive of Kitra and intends to make her his wife. he openly states his intentions towards Kitra to the entire village. He is conniving and refuses to take no for an answer, especially when it comes to Kitra. He is very vindictive and has Bankotsu banished for interfering with his plans, and to get Bankotsu out of the picture for good, after Bankotsu beats him to a pulp for nearly raping Kitra.

He does whatever it takes to get what he wants. he loves Kitra's fiestiness, but expects her to 'learn her place' and conform to what he thinks a wife should be. He can also be cruel. He very much envies both Bankotsu and Darius, for many reasons. He also fears them greatly because of their prowess with a sword, and their protectiveness over Kitra.

Kio

He is the same age as Kitra and the only thing holding him back from claiming her, is the fear of his older brother, who has already made it known beyond a doubt that he intends to marry Kitra once she becomes of age. He is brash and arrogant to a fault. He lives to make Kitra miserable.

He fears his brother and despises both Darius and Bankotsu. Once he realizes Kitra is out of reach, he then goes after her best friend Lissa. Like his brother, he refuses to be denied and tries to rape Lissa, only to be stopped by Kitra. He cannot harm Kitra or else his brother will beat him unconscious.

Tawny

She is Kitra's age and has a crush on Bankotsu. She becomes jealous and pissed when she finds out Kitra is living with Bankotsu. She is a trouble maker.  She is a village girl who is rather tall but her face is too skinny. She pretends to be one of Lissa's friends.

Sheila

Is a troublesome village girl she is tall but plump and envies the skinny girls. She's a follower.Is the same age as Tawny and Kari. Has crush on Kio even though he doesn't acknowledge she exists. Also pretends to be a friend of Lissa.

Kari

Is a troublesome village girl who is absolutely obsessed with Kou. She despises Kitra and the fact the Kou wants her. She intends to make Kitra regret ever catching Kou's interest. She is slender and short, and is a leader.Pretends to be Lissa's friend for the sole purpose of getting to Kitra. She is vindictive and conniving.

Nenji

He is Kou's best friend and the same age. He likes Kitra but knows that she is off limits, so he tries to be her friend instead. Although she isn't overly friendly with him, she tries not to be outright rude to him either. He is also Kou's 'right hand man'

Tao

He is one year older than Kitra and is Nenji's friend, as well as Kou's gaurd. He is also engaged t marry Lissa's cousin Asa. {Asa is only ever mentioned and never seen.}

Lovu

He is a village man {from a different village} who is instantly captivated by Kitra's beauty. he doesn't take no for an answer, and ends up getting beat up by Bankotsu.

Sura

She is a bar maid at the tavern who instantly takes an interest in Bankotsu. He has a one night thing with her because she is available and she tries to make it something more. She isn't used to being told no by anybody and isn't happy about Bankotsu blowing her off after the one night.

Nashine

Is from the same village as Lovu and tries to befriend Kitra. She likes Bankotsu, but he blows her off and she respects his decision.

Kayla

She is two years older than Kagome. She is Kagome's cousin who lives in her own house on the other side of the shrine. She has had nothing but trouble from men, because she is very outspoken, and doesn't conform to the typical Japanese woman.

Her family sees her as troublesome and too outspoken. Her grandfather tries to keep her in line, but since her father's death she has become even feistier.

She is very smart and refuses to conform to someone else's expectations. She is Bankotsu's one true intended woman. She has a good heart and is a priestess but hides her powers from even her own family, not wanting to be seen as even more of an outcast. She loves her family, but refuses to be cowed by her grandfather. She despises her ex Nenji because of what he did to her.

She is brash and wishes only to be left alone by others to live her life in solitude, that is until Bankotsu comes along. She and Inuyasha don't get along well because of how he treats her cousin. She is fiercely protective of the ones she lets matter to her.

It is her determination that allows Jakotsu, Renkotsu, Suikotsu, to live once again. She listens to Bankotsu but not to any other man. She also teaches Bankotsu how to read, write, use the laptop, and how to drive.

Nenji

He is from a rich family and instead of standing up for Kayla, bowed to his family's wishes and married another woman; expecting Kayla to settle for being his mistress instead of his wife. He is possessive and cruel, as well as vindictive. He has his cousin Toru spy on Kayla from time to time and report to him.

Toru

He is Hojo's friend, and likes Kayla, but refuses to say so because she is his cousin Nenji's woman. Even after Nenji marries another, he knows if he were to take Kayla his cousin would ring his neck. He as well is jealous over Kayla, but more afraid of his prominent cousin.

Drake/Drakevon

He wears a kimono styled like Sesshomaru's, but yellow instead of white and blue inlays instead of red. His armor is blood red and his obi is black and purple. He is 3/4 demon and 1/4 human. His true form is that of a powerful gold dragon. He is Kate's best friend and they grew up next door to each other.

His and Kate's parents all died in the same explosion years ago. His family protected Kate's mother and he protects Kate. He is very protective of Kate and later becomes her mate. They have a son named Raidon. He tolerates Bankotsu for Kate's sake, but later kills Bankotsu for all the hell he's put Kate through.

Kate/Katie

She wears a haori that is green with black and a tan, curve hugging v neck style t-shirt underneath and lose fitting yet form hugging light material pants that are a medium orange and have a tie string at the waist. She is 3/4 human and 1/4 demon wind elemenatlist. Her mother was a wind elemental and seductress hanyou. Her father was a human. Her mother Sayaka, was a powerful woman in her own right. 

Like her mother, Kate is a seductress and a wind and lighting elementalist. She is just coming into her powers and must rely on Drake, to teach her to harness them. His family has been her family's protectors for many generations.

She used to date Bankotsu's reincarnation, who was kind, before finding Banryu, his family's most treasured possession. Bankotsu's evilness was trapped inside of Banryu, and once Banryu was in his reincarnation's hands, the evilness slowly seeped into his soul returning Bankotsu back to his wicked self.

Sayaka

She was a powerful wind elementalist hanyou who was originally promised to Sesshomaru by her parents. He refused the union because he only wanted a pure demoness. She fell in love with a human male and gave birth to Kate. Sayaka was also a powerful seductress. Sesshomaru

Nala

She was a great friend of Drake's family and was Sayaka's best friend. She is a crater and a seamstress. She crafts pouches, belts, blankets and smaller weapons such as the daggers Kate's mother left for her. She hasn't seen Kate since she was about two years old and Sayaka took her to live in the human world.

Raidon

He is the son of Kate and Drake. He will be powerful like his father and have some of his mother's powers as well.

Miyoki {may change the name.}

She will be the daughter of Kate and Bankotsu. She will have his blue eyes and his massive strength, but her mother's seductress powers.

Cathy

 She is Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's cousin. She is 1/4 demon and is very much like her cousins. If someone hits her she will kick their butts. She has a big heart and keeps more to her books than anything else. She is very smart and tries to avoid trouble.

She is Kouga's ex girlfriend and he is still her best friend and very protective of her. Her mother was a human weather mage and her father was Inutashio's brother.

The only outwards signs of her demon heritage are her gold eyes. her fangs, and her claws. She has the heightened senses of hearing smell and sight as well as increased strength. She later becomes Bankotsu's girlfriend.

Her other ex Yuske was a major jerk and slept with Kikyo and Yuki because Cathy refused to bed him. She and Inuyasha found Kikyo and Yuske going at it at a party.

Yuske and Yuki

Yuske is a human who only thinks of his own pleasures and is possessive over Cathy.

Yuki is a slut like Yura and has her sights sets on Bankotsu. She goes out of her way to piss of Cathy.

Leiko: means arrogant

She is a wolf Hanyou, and the sole heir to the norther mountains kingdom. She is Koga's best friend, and is an impressive fighter.

Draveon

He's a manipulative wolf demon who has his sights set ion ruling the norther mountains kingdom, by using Cat to claim the throne.

Komo

He is the great king of the northern mountains and Cat's grandfather.

Ryori

He is Bankotsu's older brother. He is two years older than Bankotsu but near as strong. He ends up being possessed by an evil entity in order to spare Bankotsu while they are in the forest near their village. Toward the end, he dies in Bankotsu's arms, after the entity is defeated by Bankotsu.

The Entity/the beast

It is evil incarnate. Even naraku fears this demonic entity, who has taken possession of Bankotsu's brother and later plans to take over Bankotsu's body. It is killed by Bankotsu and Kagome becuase it underestimated their powers. It can take any form it wishes, and is as strong as it is evil.

Cat

She is Kagome's older cousin. She is feisty and loves nature in general. She can communicate with animals. She is an incredible healer and very knowledgable about all of the herbs. She is not a priestess and cannotsense the jewel shards either. She's had a rough life, but is determined to make the best of it.

Kitty/Koneko: translates to Kitten- thus the nickname Kitty.

She is a demon slayer and a priestess. She is the reincarnation of Midoriko herself. She is very feisty and doesn't take crap from anyone. She doesn't hesitate to even jump Bankotsu's case.

She is like a sister to Sesshomaru. She saved his life many years ago. She's self sacrificing and very loving. She's stubborn and doesn't give up no matter what. She demands respect from those around her and to be treated as an equal.

She despises Naraku and intends to destroy him and the shikon no tama. She is an impressive fighter and is too stubborn for her own good.

She is Sango's best friend from childhood, who was sent off to another village by Sango's father{ the headman} for training; when it was discovered that she had the potential to become a priestess.

Heibiki: translates to snake+yellow.

He is Kitty's ex fiancee.

He was thought to have died when Naraku slaughtered the village Kitty had been trained for her priestess powers in, but it is later in AMEL discovered that he survived. Kitty doesn't love him and was going to be forced into the union.

When he discovers she too survived the slaughter, he tracks her down, only to find out she is engaged to Bankotsu of the Schichinatai. He is angered by this and demands that Kitty marry him, but by then she is pregnant with Bankotsu's child. Bankotsu becomes irate and demands the man leave if he wants to live.

Manaminao {which breaks down as Mana=love mi=beauty and nao=honest

She is the last living female full blooded Chiyoshi clan member. She is very strong and independent. She knows it is up to her and her brother to destroy destroy their enemies lab and all of his experiments. She has mage blood in her as well.

She will only listen to her brother Ryuukenma, and her true mate Bankotsu; no other males will be obeyed. She is very protective of the ones she loves. The enemy is constantly searching for her, in order to unlock his lab and continue his experiments.

She loves her twin and waits patiently for her true mate to show up. She can use mind control as well as speak telepathically. She tries to avoid using her mind powers though. She is an accomplished fighter, and refuses to be left behind like a hapless female. She hates to be coddled and demands to be treated as an equal.

She tries to mind her own business, but is a curious type. If she can help someone, she will do so without a thought to the possible consequences. She's brash but knows how to respect those who deserve it. She's a pretty straight forward woman who won't hesitate, to do whatever is needed.

She also won't hesitate to tell a man, who is being a jerk to back off. She will fight to keep hers safe. She fights hard and dirty when it's necessary and has a strong sense of what is right and wrong. She is very smart, but has been known to play dumb when it's needed.

Ryuukenma {breaks down as Ryyu=dragon ken=modest and ma=true

He is Manominoa's older brother. He is very strong and overly protective of those he loves. He too wishes to see the enemy defeated once and for all. He has a strong sense of duty, as does his twin. He has a strong sense of right and wrong. Like all Chiyoshi males, he is very possessive.

His true mate and his sister are his sole reasons for living. They are very close. He is one of very few who can actually get his headstrong sister to obey a command. He knows how reckless she can be at times, and strives to be there to keep her from getting herself in too deep.

He is usually the one who saves her, from her more foolish decisions, although she's saved his butt a number of times as well. He usually doesn't allow any female except his twin and his lifemate to order him around either.

Like his sister, he's strong and an impressive warrior. They fight Vampires day in and day out. When he does think something is too dangerous for his sister, he makes her stay behind and hears all about it after he returns. He is laid back and easy going most of the time around Manaminoa.

Chiyoshi {breaks down as Chi=thousand yoshi=righteous}

The name of the most powerful and ancient race, on earth. They have been around since the beginning of time, protecting the world from vampires, and evil in general. Even demons have never seen them, only heard vague rumors of them.

They are a force to be reckoned with. Sadly, there are only a small number of them left, as the last female born with pure blood, has not yet found her true mate. Being the only female of her clan left, she can wed no other. Only will she produce children, if she and her true mate unite.

The vampires are being led by a Chiyoshi, who wishes to claim Manamimoa for himself. He long ago gave up his soul in return for power, as she never held out long enough to find his true mate. He knows time is running out, as it was announced 30 years ago that her true mate had been born.

Like all Chiyoshi she felt when he took his first breath in the world. She also felt when he had died 10 years ago. An unexplained emptiness filled her very soul, but being the last pure female, and her races only hope, she stayed strong knowing somehow that he would live again someday. That day has come, now she must convince him, to help her save her mighty race, and until he does; she and her brother must protect him.

Naien: Means inner flame.

She's a Tokyo girl whose had one hell of a rough life and doesn't trust men at all! She's been living alone since her mama died 4 years ago. When not working, eating or sleeping, she writes fan fics about her favorite mercenary and secret crush.

One night after wishing she could meet him for real, she ends up being transported by Midoriko to the FE and bound through a curse to her crush. only she finds out he isn't as dreamy as she first thought. Her dream come true quickly turns into a nightmare.

After the death of his beloved brother, Bankotsu and Naien end up traveling the lands together, and she is already his possession, and he's already made that crystal clear.

She's feisty as hell, but smart enough to realize when to back down as well. Her only complex is her scarred body and intense distrust of all men due to the way her life has gone. 

She's a warrior who has had a rough time of life. Years ago she was banished from her village while her injured grandfather was made to stay behind. She wandered all through the night until she collapsed unable to go any further.

A kind old lady found her passed out in the snow and took her in and gave her a home, clothes, food, and nursed her back to health. Upon learning why the child had been banished, she asked the girl to stay with her and protect the village. Feeling she owed the woman a debt of gratitude, she agreed and became trained by the village militia.

When a war broke out and wiped out that village, she picked herself up and moved on. She's been traveling the lands ever since then. She has waist length black hair and warm brown eyes. She has an athletic build and is rarely beaten in battle. She's feisty and rarely is defeated by anyone in battle, but also knows when she is out matched.

Later on it is revealed that she is actually a missing princess thought kidnap then night her parents were murdered.}that's all I can say without runing the story :P|
